Canyon Country In The Winter

Al's nephew Phil and his girlfriend Patty are here for the holidays from San Diego. Yesterday we had them, Al's mom, and Al's sister out to the motor home for breakfast. Blueberry pancakes....YUM!
Then it was off to play tour guide since Patty had never been here before. We slipped and slid on some backroads that hadn't been plowed.....almost made me wish for our snowmobiles. I said almost! We finally made it out to Needles Overlook.

Chivalry is not dead, Al helped his mom, who is in her 80's, out to one of the overlooks.
Then we drove along the rim to Anticline Overlook

The views are just spectacular. And no one else for miles Big difference from tourist season.
